2007 Team sponsored by NASA and Cacciopo foundation, finished higher than before.
2008 Team sponsored by NASA, Cacciopo, Foundation, and Freeport-McMorran Mining. Build room moved to Cottonwood Elementary school vacant room. Team finished in top 20.
2009 Team sponsored by Freeport McMorran Mining, and AZ Science Foundation, and AZ Tax Credits. Build room moved to location at UA Tech Park cafeteria. Team finished 2nd in Arizona Regional.
2010 Team sponsored by Freeport McMorran Mining, ITT Technical Institute, and Tax Credits from parents and friends of team 1828. Team finished in top 30. Approached by a representative from Caterpillar to be a sponsor.
2011 Team sponsored by Caterpillar, Inc.,Freeport McMorran Mining, and AZ Tax Credits. Mostly freshmen again on the team. Team did poorly this year due to communication problems between the field and robot. Team still very enthusiastic.
2012 Team sponsored by Caterpillar, Inc., and AZ Tax credits. Registered for regional events in Arizona and Las Vegas. Caterpillar agreed to sponsor our team to the National competition in St. Louis. Also we are going to Phoenix to meet Dean Kamen in February after build season. The robot has come together well this year and the team has worked well together, learning from mistakes made the previous year.
